It gave me another perspective on a lot of heavy social issues. It helped me realize what is going on with police shootings and made me want to do something about it. I think that everyone should read this book because it confronts social issues that everyone needs to be aware of. Her investigation hysterically unfolds as she interviews her past boyfriends to figure out why her relationships always end. As she goes through her interviews, Avery finally understands the person she is now and along the way discovers who she wants to become. Review: I really loved this book because it’s very different from books I’ve read before. I’ve never read a book with more than three points of view, so it was nice to get to read others views on the same situation. Filled with many laughs and awe moments “It’s not me it’s You” will always be my go to book for a great read. Review by Nia, 2023 |
